How it works: (in ground pools and custom orders)
The first step in the liner replacement process is an on-site assessment. Our team will visit your property to measure the pool and gather all
necessary details to ensure an accurate quote. Since each pool is unique, we will assess:
-
Pool dimensions, including depth, slopes, and shape
-
Wall structure, pool base, and overall condition
-
Skimmer, return, and lighting models
-
Any additional items or issues that require attention
Important Notes:
-
The pool water must be clean and clear, allowing full visibility of the bottom.
-
We cannot properly measure pools with green or dirty water, as accurate measurements are not
possible. In this case we may have to drain the pool and measure empty or pool will need to be cleaned up prior to measuring.
-
A deposit and signed contract are required before proceeding if we need to drain the pool. Once drained the existing liner is no longer re-usable.
-
If the pool is empty, we will need to cut the liner to measure correctly. A deposit and signed contract are required before proceeding
Measuring & Quote Fee
There is a $200 fee for our measuring, quote preparation, and labor associated with the process. If you proceed with the liner replacement, this fee
will be deducted from your final project cost.
Once measurements are taken and information is gathered, we will send information in and obtain pricing from the liner manufacturer.
Your final quote will include the cost of the liner, materials, labor, and any additional required services. We will also receive a mockup of the liner
with all the specifications. Once received before the liner is ordered we will need to return to the pool to check the specification drawings and
ensure that the information is correct for a proper fitting liner.
Water Delivery
We coordinate all necessary water deliveries to ensure your pool is filled and ready for use upon completion.
The cost of water delivery is factored into your quote. The pool must be filled immediately upon installation to allow the liner to stretch
and guarantee a proper fit.
Pool Renovations / Step Installations and Modifications
For pools requiring renovations or modifications, these details will be included in your initial quote.
-
If your pool does not currently have steps, installation may be possible.
-
Steps are typically placed in the shallow end for rectangular pools.
-
A railing will be installed into the pool deck for safety.
-
Costs vary by pool and can be quoted as part of the liner replacement project.
-
Some pool shapes may not allow for step installation
Liner Order & Payment Terms
If you choose to move forward with the replacement of your liner, we require:
✅ 50% deposit before ordering the liner, remaining balance is due at the completion of the installation.
✅ Signed contract confirming project details.
Since all liners are custom-made, orders are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once the order is
placed.
Installation Process Pre-Installation:
-
The pool must be drained before our arrival (we can assist if needed).
-
The existing liner will be removed, and all pool components and structure of the will be inspected
prior to starting the installation process.
Structural Responsibility
As outlined in our contract: (attached separately)
"The owner(s) assume full responsibility for the existing condition of the pool walls and floor. The contractor has no prior knowledge of the
-
pool’s structural condition. If, upon removal of the old liner, structural repairs are required, it is the owner’s responsibility to address these
-
issues before installation can proceed."
Groundwater Management
If groundwater is present, installation cannot proceed until the issue is resolved. Extra charges may apply for groundwater management.
Preparation & Installation
The day prior to installation we will prep the pool for the following days installation. This will include removing the water and existing liner out
of the pool. Once the liner is removed, we will be able to do a full inspection of the pool structure and pool base. This will determine if there is any
extra work needed prior to installation. For pools requiring modifications and renovations this process will take several days and will be scheduled
ahead of the liner installation.
During the liner preparation stage:
✔ Wall foam installation- before liner placement wall foam will be installed (if applicable) ✔ Replacement of faceplates and gaskets on all skimmers,
returns, lights, and drains
✔ Pool base inspection & preparation (additional costs may apply for resurfacing)
Base Repair Costs: (If needed)
-
Sand-bottom pools may require additional work, typically costing $250–$500+ depending on materials and labor.
-
A full resurfacing takes 1–2 days and will require a separate quote.
-
Vermiculite and concrete pools typically need minimal resurfacing, condition of the pool base
will be determined upon the removal of the existing pool liner
Day of installation
On installation day the pool will be thoroughly checked over to ensure all new gaskets, foam and touch ups have been completed.
The new liner will be installed. Using specialized liner vacuums the liner will be vacuumed into place allowing the liner to be set and any
wrinkles to be worked out. Once the liner is installed, the pool will be immediately filled with water. We handle the water delivery coordination,
and the cost is included in your quote. Once the water has arrived all new faceplates will be installed to drains, skimmers and returns.
Final Steps & Additional Services
-
The pool will be turned on and ready for use after filling.
-
Chemical balancing is the customer’s responsibility (chemicals not included).
-
Optional: Pool plumbing can be pressure-tested for leaks at an additional charge
